Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Clean Room Technician for an exciting space exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing and chemical handling to further their career with a great company.
· Clean and passivate hardware using means such as chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods
· Handle hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
· Titrate and use other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV lab solvent/chemical systems
· Inspect hardware using various methods
· Perform maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc
Essential Qualifications:
· 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/laboratory settings working with chemicals or
having had experience in cross contamination environments
· Strong attention to detail
· Comfortable wearing PPE
· Computer proficiency
Bonus Qualifications:
· Aerospace experience
· Forklift or crane experience
· Experience using tools like micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches

About the Department
The Bellevue College (BC) Custodial Services Department within Campus Operations supports the College's primary mission by cleaning and maintaining internal and external areas of all College Facilities and other assets. The department works in compliance with local, state and federal laws and agencies by following BC's policies, follows and maintains safety procedures and follow-up Campus Operations program on accidents and safety prevention techniques. The department also follows APPA's Operational Guidelines as well as continuously improves work methods, knowledge of equipment, supplies and safety through participation in routine training sessions.
Essential Functions
Support and lead cleanliness of BC facilities
* Maintains assigned area in a clean and safe condition according to BC's procedures.
* Assigns, instructs and checks the work of others regularly.
* Train and refresh cleaning practices and equipment usage.
* Will cover other runs in accordance to need resulting from absentee, emergency clean up or other work-related needs of the Bellevue College's internal and external facilities.
* Support the Campus Operations Department crews and the various departments, vendors and/or visitors in accordance to need.
Perform custodial tasks
* Cleans various buildings, offices, rooms, labs, common areas, cleans and sanitizes showers and restrooms.
* Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, walls and woodwork, shampoo carpets dusts furniture and equipment; empties wastebaskets, trash, recycle and compost containers.
* Polishes furniture, metal fixtures; washes windows.
* Operates machinery necessary to perform job including vacuum cleaners, blowers, scrubbers, upholstery cleaners, buffing machines, water extractors, carpet shampooers, pressure washers.
Facilitates trainings, report problems and support BC events
* Instructs the custodial personnel in proper cleaning techniques and safety practices.
* Maintains communication and relationship with Custodial Supervisor and Operations Manager.
* Ensures that equipment is properly maintained.
* Improves work methods, knowledge of equipment, supplies and safety through participation in training sessions with supervisors.
* Reports building damage and malfunctions in a computerized facilities management system.
* Set-ups and break-downs of campus functions and special events including stages, podiums, tables, chairs, partitions, etc.
Upkeep storage closets, facilities, equipment and supplies
* Stacks and replenishes supplies and products in designated areas.
* Keeps designated areas properly supplied with Personal protective equipment (PPE); supply paper products, soap, sanitary and menstrual supplies and other items.
* Replaces furnishings, burned out light bulbs/fixtures and other miscellaneous objects.
* Upkeeps the custodial storage room clean, maintain inventory of supplies and products as needed and the assigned equipment.
* Brings broken or unused equipment back to the warehouse.
Comply with laws and BC policies, procedures
* Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and agencies.
* Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for the custodial staff in accordance to the Campus Operations and Bellevue College.
* Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* At least one (1) to two (2) years of Janitorial/Custodial work experience.
* At least one (1) year experience as a Lead Custodian.
* Knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the custodial work.
* Demonstrated physical ability to do the required work, lift/push/or pull at a minimum 50 pounds.
* Must be able to work with arms overhead, kneel, bend, crawl, squat and crouch repeatedly.
* Ability to work off a ladder (up to 8 feet).
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Must be able to multi task and manage workload in fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated experience working with diverse colleagues and/or students in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
* Valid Washington driver license or ability to obtain one upon employment.

Job Description
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, making an immediate impact, and leaving places cleaner than you found them? Are you a problem solver who's not afraid to dive (or crawl) into the nooks and crannies of heating systems? As a Duct Cleaning Technician at Fischer Heating and Air, you'll be the hero responsible for ensuring our customers breathe fresh, healthy air by clearing out the dust, debris, and anything else lurking in their HVAC ducts.
Key Responsibilities
Dust Buster Extraordinaire: Clean and maintain HVAC ductwork in homes and businesses, removing allergens, dust, and whatever surprises we might find!
Health & Safety Champion: Use high-quality cleaning tools and techniques to ensure our customers' air is safe, clean, and meets Fischer standards.
Customer Care Pro: Our customers love us because we're personable and professional. You'll explain your process, keep them informed, and ensure they're left smiling.
Detail-Oriented Cleaner: We're not talking about a quick once-over. You'll be trained to follow a thorough cleaning process, from intake to output, ensuring nothing gets missed.
Equipment Expert: Maintain and care for duct cleaning tools and equipment, checking it regularly to ensure peak performance.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Prior duct cleaning experience is a plus but not required - we'll train the right person! If you're a quick learner with a strong work ethic, we'd love to meet you.
Physical Fitness: You'll be working in tight spaces and sometimes unusual angles. Must be comfortable on your feet, climbing ladders, and carrying equipment (up to 50 pounds).
Customer Service: Great with people? You'll interact with our customers directly, so friendliness and communication skills are a must.
Attention to Detail: You'll need a keen eye to ensure no corner of a duct goes untouched!
Problem Solving: Quick on your feet with troubleshooting? We value a can-do attitude when it comes to tackling unexpected challenges.

Essential Functions:
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds.
Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines.
Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, windows, ledges, cleans ceilings and dusts, remove trash, heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
Move boxes, furniture and grates to clean areas, Applies protection applications to walls floors and equipment. Removes protective applications from wall floors and equipment.

Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances.
Clean sink and counter areas.
Sweep and mop tile floors.
Restrooms
Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals.
Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant.
Spot clean walls, partitions and doors.
Refill all restroom dispensers as needed.
Non-Carpeted Areas

Complete damp mop tile floors.

Custodians are responsible for the overall cleanliness of our Food & Beverage venues. This position works a swing shift to take advantage of the time that buildings are least occupied.
Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guests
Vacuum, sweep and mop all lodge floors and restrooms
Deep clean and stock restrooms
Transport trash and recycling to appropriate containers
Report any restroom or lodge maintenance to Facilities Manager
