SUMMARY
Work from daily schedule to maintain plant, office, and grounds in clean, safe condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of all areas of the building, as well as surrounding areas around the exterior when necessary. Responsible for own work preparation and accomplishing routine work without supervision.
Keep lavatories clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Waste and scrap removal - may assist with building repair, painting, and other projects.
Properly identify, sort, and place recyclable materials in storage containers to help comply with environmental regulations, environmental recycling programs, and associated goals and objectives.
Operate floor buffer and carpet shampoo equipment, as necessary.
Evaluate materials for required documentation, defects, and potential environmental hazards. Notify appropriate personnel of non-conformances.
Train temporary employees helping in housekeeping when necessary.

What You'll Do:
Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, from pressure washing outdoor areas to cleaning windows, furniture, floors, and more.
Use a variety of cleaning methods, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
Work with a team to ensure all designated areas are spotless, both indoors and outdoors.
Maintain restrooms, order supplies as needed, and ensure the facility is always well-stocked and clean.
Keep the facility secure by locking up after hours and reporting any hazards.
Submit reports, checklists, and other administrative tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
Provide exceptional customer service, building trust with every client you interact with.
Who We're Looking For:
Previous experience in janitorial cleaning in a community setting is a plus.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) are preferred.
You're reliable, honest, hardworking, and always on time.
You have a reasonable driving record and reliable transportation.
You can pass a background check and drug screening.
You're ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in a job well done.
