About the Role - The Safety Department (located in Urbana, Ohio) is looking to fill the role of EHS Manager. Reporting to the Facility Director, the EHS Manager will play a key role in supporting new safety and environmental programs, as well as supporting already established ones. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to be involved in all day-to-day facility safety and environmental initiatives.
Responsibilities -
Collaborate with the global IPL community in the sharing of information, strategy, and activities.
Interfaces with company vendors, ordering necessary supplies and Personal Protective Equipment for EHS.
Coordinate EHS needs with department management, supervisors, and employees promoting a safe working culture and 100% engagement in Environmental, Health and Safety from all who work on behalf of IPL.
Promote drug-free workplace initiatives and policies.
Facilitate and monitor safety at the site through daily safety audits of all production areas and buildings.
Assemble, track, trend, and report relevant environmental, health, and safety information through daily and weekly production meetings, monthly communication meetings, screen cloud communications, and other electronic communication notification methods.
Schedule and facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings.
Coordinate Industrial Hygiene testing and monitoring efforts to ensure compliance with regulations and standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Initiate, manage, and promote safety incentives, coaching, auditing, and campaign programs.
Maintain all EHS chemical management systems and certification required, including but not limited to Safety Data Sheets (SDS); labeling, storage, and management of chemicals; and hazardous waste disposal, storage, tracking, and reporting.
Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on all incidents related to EHS; injuries, illnesses, near misses, property damage, first aid, fires, and hazard reporting.
Responsibility for all aspects of Worker's Compensation.
Maintain and coordinate completion including submission of all EHS internal and external reporting according to federal, province, territory, state, and local requirements for the plant and corresponding locations connected to the facility.
Keep current on any new EHS regulations and standards changes for the industry.
Maintain all environmental management systems. Including maintenance, coordination, implementation, and review of all programs, permits, and plans for the plant and corresponding locations connected to the facility.
Present EHS-related information during the new hire process including personal protective equipment demonstration and assignment, onboard training, and prerequisite testing.
Create, schedule, and/or present all Safety, Health, and Environmental Training for employees on the required frequency to be compliant with all regulatory agencies or governing legislation, including Emergency Response.
Develop and maintain a departmental budget with annual recommendations for EHS-related improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Conduct all required audits, drills, or required activities to continue compliance with all governing regulatory agencies and legislation for Environmental, Health, and Safety and maintains all documentation related.
Ensure all employees, temporary employees, safety committee members, emergency response teams, supervisors, and managers receive needed training on the required frequency.
Ensure that all functions operate following health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Ensure all products meet production, quality, and technical specifications.
Keep the Operator/Supervisor informed about critical issues affecting safety, quality, and production.
Assist the Thermoforming Operator in machine operations, including changeovers, machine set-up, roll splices, regrind/elutriator systems, waste systems, QA checks, BMS operations, and daily 5S audits.
Assist in providing breaks and lunches to the production crew on your machine.
Complete certification by finishing the Assistant Thermoforming Operator Job Training Outline and Skills Assessment and work toward becoming a Thermoforming Operator.
Acquire skills for machine adjustments, changeovers, dialing in machines, and performing QA checks.
Assist the Operator in maintaining tool boards, machine boards, audits, and check sheets.
Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor, Team Leader, or Operator to support plant operations.
Support Kaizen Events and other continuous improvement initiatives.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems within the facility to insure smooth operation, production and safe working conditions.
DUTIES
Troubleshoot and repair problems encountered during day-to-day operations of the facility
Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment and systems to help prevent downtime and equipment /plant deterioration
Perform work assignments on projects for the continued growth, expansion and safe environment of the plant and the related work areas
Work with outside contractor to perform installation or service of equipment within the facility

SKILLS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in related field preferred
2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to and including 480 volts and DC drive systems
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair vacuum conveying systems.
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, micrometers and operate a mill/lathe
Previous extrusion and PLC experience is a plus

Production Supervisor is responsible for the operation of assigned production department in a safe, profitable and efficient manner through proper utilization of assigned manpower, materials, equipment, and space. Also responsible for coordinating all activities within his scope of control and for setting priorities necessary to accomplish predetermined goals.

About the Role
The primary function of the Operator is to keep the Injection Stretch Blow Molding and/or Injection Molding lines running well and producing good bottles.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on ISBM/IM molds and machines. This includes cleaning the machine and the basement of the machine.
Start up and shut down molding equipment in a safe manner. Make mechanical and system adjustments to machines to correct quality issues in the bottles and process out defects.
Perform root cause analysis to determine true cause of machine issues.
Must be willing and able to document all adjustments and changes to machinery.
Perform quality checks on bottles per policy, documenting any and all issues in the quality system.
Perform or assist with mold changes as needed.

Perform as the Subject Matter Expert and process engineering lead for manufacturing to achieve an advanced level of operational (manufacturing) excellence by improving/optimizing equipment and machines, production flows, processes, systems, and associate skillsets.
Work directly with Operations Manager as a (manufacturing) process engineering mentor and advisor with joint ownership of production performance. Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Facilitate the flow of inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and equipment while maintaining the dock area and warehouse in a high state of 5S.
DUTIES
Load trailers with raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and/or equipment for shipment according to assigned BOL, pick list, and load list
Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists for outbound shipments using the MRS system
Inspect outbound shipments for proper identification and damage
Inspect trailers for signs of contamination, leaks, and cleanliness prior to loading/unloading
Pick and stage outbound shipments according to assigned BOL and pick list
Seal/secure all outbound trailers
Stretch wrap and/or band outgoing materials as necessary
Unload trailers of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and equipment and stage in proper area
Inspect inbound materials for damage and/or contamination
Create and print labels for inbound materials using MRS
Attach labels to inbound materials and verify label matches material information
Store all inbound material in its proper location
Keep the shipping area / docks clean and free of clutter
Participate in plant WCOM activities
Perform any task as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or team leader to support plant operations
Comply with all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, Food Safety, etc.
SKILLS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated alignment with Amcor Core Values, teamwork and contribution to a positive team environment
Ability to perform basic math and computer functions and RF scanning systems
Good organizational skills and be self-motivated
Ability to successfully complete Amcor Fremont Fork Lift Certification and Shipping Handling training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work standing on standup fork truck for 12.25 hour shift
Able to withstand heat

Job Description
To work with management on organizing, repairing and inventorying machine tooling and related parts. The individual will also organize and perform preventive maintenance on forming tools and perform tool trouble-shooting.
Duties
Monitoring machine tooling and making corrections when necessary. Work on continuous tool improvement, problem solving and trouble-shooting Will be responsible for machine tooling; making certain it is ready for production when needed. This will include all associated hardware, hoses, bolts, plugs, inserts, etc. Assist wherever needed to minimize down-time. Will work with scheduling to prepare for upcoming production order requirements. Comply with all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, Food Safety, etc.
Job Requirements
Must have good decision making, leadership, and problem solving skills with the ability to drive to the root cause and develop sound countermeasures. Possesses a high degree of safety awareness. Willing to work with Production personnel to set work priorities and determine the proper course of action relative to production equipment schedules. Previous tool and die experience preferred. May be required to take additional training as requested by management from internal or external sources. The ability to use Word, Excel and e-mail functions is preferred.
Knowledge Requirements
Prefer an Associates degree in Applied Science or equivalent job experience related to the tool and die field. Ability to read blueprints.
Physical Requirements
Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds Must be able to withstand heat
