Summary: The intern will assist with the oversight of all aspects of Wastewater Treatment Plant operations and administration of the treatment of wastewater under intense supervision. In addition, the intern will assist in analyzing and testing wastewater samples. Supervision: Incumbents report to the Plant Manager and Chief Operating Officer. Major Duties: Work with mentors to learn about the Authority's water treatment process and opportunities of interest within the industry. Assist with EPA quality control program for the laboratory and assist the performance of laboratory technicians. Participate in assisting in the operation of wastewater treatment and maintenance including taking samples, testing and supervising the running of tests.
