We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate/BS/MS level candidate to join our Discovery Biology team located in Billerica, MA. . Job Responsibilities: The selected intern candidate will contribute to the discovery of drugs for treating neuroinflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The candidate will work collaboratively with a team of scientists to develop and conduct in vitro cell-based assays to further our understanding of human disease and evaluate the mechanism of action of potential drug candidates. Prepare study protocols and reports per request Present findings in small team meetings and final PowerPoint presentation to the department Closely work with members in the RU N&I group to support departmental goals Qualifications: Current college/university student pursuing a degree or graduate with a degree in Biology, preferably in Immunology, Neuroscience or Cell biology Practical laboratory experience in Immunology, Neuroscience or a related field, pharmaceutical industry experience a plus Required hands-on experience: Tissue culture/aseptic technique, ELISA, and assay setup including reagent calculations.
