Job Title: HVAC Lead Airside Installer
We're hiring an experienced HVAC Lead Airside Installer to join our commercial team in the Philadelphia area. This hands-on supervisor role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and brings deep knowledge of airside HVAC installations. If you have a strong background in duct work, VRFs, and commercial HVAC systems-and you're ready to take the lead on large-scale projects-this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage airside HVAC installations on commercial buildings, including duct work, RTUs, and VRF/VRV systems.
Oversee and work alongside a team to ensure high-quality and timely project execution.
Read and interpret mechanical plans, coordinate with CAD teams, and field-verify measurements for in-house duct fabrication.
Use Bluebeam, Procore, and scheduling tools to manage project workflow and documentation.
Ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are maintained across job sites.
Collaborate with project managers and the mechanical department as needed, flexing between HVAC and mechanical scopes.
Requirements
5 to 8 years of hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience
Expertise in airside systems, including duct work, VAVs, and VRF/VRV installations
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and mechanical drawings
Experience working with Bluebeam, Procore, and critical path scheduling
Stable local work history and commitment to safety and quality standards
Nice-to-Haves
Factory certification in VRV installation
Startup experience with VRF systems
Background in piping or mechanical supervision roles
Location & Work Environment
Projects are based throughout the greater Philadelphia area. This is a field-based position requiring hands-on work at commercial construction sites. You'll work closely with other supervisors, installers, and project managers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Summary:
The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications for our Residential New Construction or Retail Teams.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:
Works under general supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications.
May tests systems to ensure proper functioning.
Identifies issues and follows-up with required repair to ensure all relevant components are working correctly to ensure compliance.
Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner.
May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
Fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
Follows safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Experience may be substituted for education.
Prior HVAC installation experience
Ability to read installation plans/documents
Maintains and cleans work area upon completion
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required
Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC trade school certification
1-2 years' experience in construction, HVAC or related experience
EPA Certification

Working Conditions:
Majority of work will take place at occupied residential homes and/or construction sites. Minimal time spent in an office environment.
Travel by vehicle to and from work locations
Regularly exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift
Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
Frequently performs tasks requiring climbing, bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching
Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
