Knowledge and experience in termination and testing Cat 6, and 6a Copper Cabling (RJ45 Jacks and Patch Panels)
Knowledge and experience in termination and testing Multi-mode and Single-mode Fiber Optic Cabling (htmelt, Unicam, Fusion splicing, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in following applicable OSHA safety procedures and ability to work in confined spaces
Knowledge of electrical codes, fire codes, building codes and procedures
BICSI installation certification is desirable

+ Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms

Responsibilities:
Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
Pre-measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation
Properly connect equipment
Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information
For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all necessary materials to complete it
Document work performed in accordance with company procedure
Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge
Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications:
2+ Years HVAC installation experience
Certifications: Valid HVAC certification
Valid Driver's License
Strong customer service skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Pay Transparency:
The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $75k-$150k+annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
Physical Demands:
Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
