Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Performs construction of marinas by installing floating docks in the water at the job site per blueprint specifications and per direction of Crew Lead and/or Construction Project Manager; * Operates equipment and machinery in a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner; * Follows and applies safety rules and techniques; * Reports any problems with construction duties to supervisor; * May operate forklift to transport floats; places and aligns floats into correct order and position, following blueprint specifications; * Uses hardware, such as bolts, washers, rods, lumber, and uses necessary hand tools; * Positions and fastens all required hardware and materials onto floats using wrenches, rubber mallets, and others appropriate tools, ensuring floats are assembled correctly; and * Performs other duties as assigned.
