Position Title: Door and Window Installer Reports to: Installation Manager Classification: Hourly Department: Install The successful candidate takes pride in quality work delivered in a timely manner. Having the ability to work independently and make decisions is key. Being able to turn issues into solutions for customers is a skillset that must be utilized daily. Purpose of Position: Install doors and windows for customers ensuring the final part of the sale is done efficiently and properly. Through quality of work and professionalism, be a source of repeat and referral business to grow the installation business. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine the scope of work. Measure and cut materials with precision to ensure proper fit and alignment. Collaborate with managers and customers to understand installation requirements and project timelines. Follow-up with sales team, managers, and customers to ensure efficient workflow and overall customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records and ensure all work orders and administrative tasks are completed timely. Inspect materials for quality, damage, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate effectively with sales team and to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and safe storage practices. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude and provide exceptional customer service skills while servicing customers.
