As a Field Service Engineer II - Industrial Automation & Process Control here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation & Process Control business unit. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Albany, NY service area.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers
• Provide advanced technical support and expertise for our Industrial Automation & Process Control solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $68,000-$102,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on complex technical solutions
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation & Process Control technologies, including flow, temperature, LEL, pressure, 4-20mA, Thermocouple, RTD, Thermal Oxidizers, liquid level, and Ultrasonic Level and Detection
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in project management and execution
Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Reporting to the Fire Alarm Manager, this position is responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm devices and fire suppression systems according to company standards and as required by National, State or Local codes. Responsibilities include
Service, install, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot on a variety of fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Read fire alarm data sheets, system manuals, blueprints as required.
Coordinate installations with fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean up installation debris.
Meet daily/weekly service and productivity goals.
Serve as a mentor and share knowledge/experience with others.
Perform administrative duties including completing service acknowledgements, NFPA Record of completion documents and other supporting documentation.
Maintain a fully stocked company vehicle in order to provide the best customer service with as few return trips as necessary.
Qualifications include
Journeyman Electrician or Massachusetts Class D Electrical License required
Minimum 3-5 years related fire alarm experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business.
NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
Proficiency with using PCs including working knowledge of MS Excel / Word as well as iPhone/iPad apps.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. as needed.
A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
Ability to work within a team environment.

Introduction to the job The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installations, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customer within the specific region.
Role and responsibilities
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) executes regular and irregular maintenance activities with considerable independency and under limited supervision. The FSE handles defined and regular problems/maintenance on a machine, either independently or through escalation without supervision.
You'll report to the Senior Team Lead, but you'll also be part of the larger Customer Solutions & Support sector - where the in-fab installation and optimization of ASML products happens.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll:
Problem analysis and approach - gather all information relevant for the problem, analyze using available means, gather additional diagnostic info if needed, decide on initial approach to solve problem and execute, consult with others.
Problem handovers and routing - handover problem or problem aspects to others (2nd line support), document and package all data relevant for problem resolution (e.g. pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, technical reports).
Repairs - use tools, replace parts, improve settings, to execute repairs and standard service actions independently.
Procedures - based on arranged customer machine time window to arrange for all (possible) parts, tools, equipment and information / knowledge to be available at start of procedure, execute procedure.
Training / advice - explain appropriate actions to users to correct malfunctions, train customers in use and routine maintenance of equipment, recommend changes in user procedures when needed
Process Optimization - signal gaps and improvement opportunities and reports it to the relevant stakeholders
Knowledge build-up and transfer - maintain and broaden own knowledge, shares best known methods within the work group.
Coaching - provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced engineers on first tasks.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Technical Field (Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
Minimum 0-1 year experience in technical industry and/or semiconductor industry experience preferred.
Minimum 0-1 year in using computer applications, including data analysis tools, spreadsheet, and presentation software preferred.

Responsibilities:
Works under direct supervision of the Installer or Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer's home
Assists with the installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications
Assists in the installation of ducts and duct fittings
Performs duties so as to deliver of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction
Assists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work
Assists the Installer or Lead Installer in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and properly accounted for

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installation, commissioning, and scheduled or emergency service on Small to Medium UPS & Battery system products (2-120KVA) serviced by Vertiv, commensurate with appropriate training certification. RESPONSIBILITIES
ROLE
* Rely on direction from Coordinated Services Dispatch team to accomplish goals
* Perform several UPS/Battery work related tasks
* Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training
TECHNICAL
* Render on site and phone assistance to customers.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the State of Washington locality is between $46,200 to $63,525 per year salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary.
