Please visit our website to learn more about us and the industry. ************************ Job Title: Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector County Coverage: Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orleans Inspection Vol. per Month: 113 Preferred Experience: We are looking for knowledgeable and experienced inspectors: Aspen Grove ABC# Have used at least one of the industry standard smart phone apps: InspectorADE (what GIS uses), EZ Inspections or SafeView inspect Currently conducting occupancy inspections (or have in the past) Mortgage Property Inspection Overview: Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on the properties they have financial interest in. The lender contracts with GIS to have inspectors go out to verify the property occupancy, report general property conditions, letter delivery/posting, vacant interior walkthrough or insurance repair progress report. Majority of our inspections are basic exteriors where some do require contact by door knock or letter delivery. In addition, there will be some inspections which require interior access to secured/vacant properties and appointment based insurance loss inspections. Job Responsibilities: Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving Efficient time management to route and complete inspections with an estimated 3-5 day turnaround time in your agreed territory Make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards and report general property conditions Using a mobile app to obtain all photographs, comments, and form documentation Consistent communication with your inspection manager via text, email and phone Requirements: Valid US drivers license Aspen Grove ABC # Computer with an internet connection Fuel efficient vehicle iPhone or Android Printer Office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink) HUD keys (set of 11) Daylight hour availability Volt stick (preferred) Pay and Hours: Set rate per inspection is estimated at $15-$20+ per hour based on the number of inspections performed **This will vary depending on location, volume and efficiency.** Inspections are paid out every Friday by direct deposit for work completed the prior week Depending on the territory you should expect to work 5-15+ hours per week The job is a 1099 Independent Contractor position

ACV Auctions is looking for an enthusiastic Inspector who has a knack for cars and wants an opportunity to join a growing company. Our Inspectors are the face of our company. They know a ton about cars, and love to talk about them - explaining to our clients what they need to know in a way they can understand. What you will do:

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

• Partnering with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors, conducts inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease, to detect damage, missing parts and mechanical problems.

• Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.

• Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products

• Interface regularly with our dealers to develop and ensure client satisfaction and build strong relationships.

• Travel to & from dealerships and homes to inspect, and write condition reports, list vehicles to sell on the auction platform.

• Take multiple, overall, and damage photos match them to a vehicle, and download them to the image server utilizing the company issued smart phone.

• List inspected wholesale vehicles utilizing ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchasing.

• Sign up independent dealerships as buyers to utilize ACV Auctions digital platform.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• 1 year(s) Experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.

• Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.

• Excellent communicator with the ability to understand customer needs and expectations.

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required

• No previous DUI/DWI and no restrictions on driving commercial vehicle

• Knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge of needed/job-relevant software packages, and web-based applications.

• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.

• Vision abilities required to properly identify small defects around and underneath vehicles.
