Purpose:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents.
Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork. Witness, verify and document specified manufacturing process steps.
Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA approved procedures.
Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and equipment.
Conduct work in a manner that enhances own/other employees health and safety, product safety and promotes risk reduction; participate openly in safety-related event investigations, and immediately report workplace hazards and make suggestions for control; cooperate and contribute toward the overall success of the Safety program at the local level.
Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel.
Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Job Summary:
Assist the ISO compliance manager and other department members with administrative duties to uphold ISO standards and maintain superior quality control.
Essential Job Functions:
Utilize Material Review Report information to create a database of rejection criteria.
Verify completion of Material Review Report information.
Use data collected during the inspection process to create statistical process control charts.
Analyze measurements of detail parts to verify non-conformance with blueprints, specifications, and purchase orders.
Verify information on Material Test Reports of all incoming parts.
Assist in maintaining Material Review Report (MRR) logs.
Assist in maintaining Test and Tracking (T&T) logs.
Create reports using completed final inspection reports.
Generate reports on valve audits in Manufacturing and Valve repair.
Help maintain scrap material and scrap logs.
Assist in maintaining the rejection log of all machine and welding job orders.
Contribute to the maintenance of all tools and equipment in good working order.
Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and filed neatly.
Maintain a clean and efficient working area through housekeeping.

Qualifications:
Skills Required:
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively with other departments within the company.
Ability to read and understand Material Test Reports.
Organization of QC documentation.
Strong knowledge of personal computers (Windows, MS Word/Excel applications).

Summary: Perform in-process and final inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies. This typically includes various mechanical assemblies, piping, brackets and wiring, lighting, boxes, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements.
Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret a tape measure.
Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance.
Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected.
The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures.
Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications.
Must have weld inspection experience. AWS D1.1 experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of Nondestructive Examinations and Powder Coating.
Inspection will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements.
Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime.
Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
