You cannot stay at one area, and visually detect all defects across the entire width of the fabric. An inspector is required to patrol the entire width of the fabric, so sitting is prohibited.
* Maintain housekeeping, productivity, quality, ensure safety, and be a team player, by always helping your fellow co-workers.

* Load roll onto machine. Insert pipe through roll and position on creel stand. Thread
* Fabric through machine and onto take up roll. Reset yardage meter.
* Reroll and inspect fabric. Monitor fabric for defects. Mark or cut out defects as necessary. Record defects.
* Unload machine. Record production and quality information. Cut fabric at required yardage. Tape roll. Prepare and fasten tickets. Bag roll and tie. Place roll on pallet.
* Deliver completed rolls to packing.
* Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for upholding the Quality System and requirements of CAREL USA Manheim, PA location and CAREL Italy. Develop the Quality requirements needed to make sure that any and all product from this facility is meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform inspection on parts received from external suppliers, in-line inspections in the manufacturing area, and outgoing inspections for product shipments.
Follow Control Plans/Quality Inspection Plans to determine process/product conformance.
Assist with Value Stream Leader on NCRM generation.
Assist with processing of products returned to CAREL on return material authorizations as directed.
Familiarity with and ability to utilize various types of measuring and test equipment for electrical and mechanical components.
Works with VSL, Assembly Operators and Manufacturing Engineers to affirm process controls are being adequately followed.
Generate inspection records, product statuses, and summarize data.
Be fluent in computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.
Familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes for electrical and mechanical components and applicable standards including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
Performs inspection on products (cables, circuit cards, assemblies, systems, etc.) manufactured for compliance to CAREL and customer drawings. Performs first piece inspections and audits as required.
Verifies all required documentation associated with products that are physically inspected.
Works within Access database to analyze data for trends in quality that need to be addressed.
Inspects at Receiving incoming products or packaging that has been damaged and needs to be addressed/replaced or dispositioned accordingly.
Involved in overall ISO 9001 documentation program to keep compliance and also in conducting Internal Audits of facility.
Reviews and reads drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to understand quality requirements of manufactured products.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each ESSENTIAL DUTY satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience High School Diploma/GED with 3 years technical/inspection responsibility or experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment. Language and Communication Skills Good verbal and written skills. The ability to communicate effectively, detailed oriented and factual in content.

SUMMARY:
Assist in implementing, and maintaining a consistent auditing process. Monitoring assembly operations and the auditing process for compliance to standards. Duties include mentoring of new employees, process and product audits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What You'll Do : As a Second Shift NDE Inspector at PRL, you will be at the forefront of our quality assurance process. You will inspect castings, forgings, and weldments using advanced techniques such as visual inspection, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic methods. Your meticulous approach will ensure that our products uphold the rigorous standards required for naval and nuclear applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough inspections of castings, forgings, and weldments.
- Perform hydrostatic pressure testing and use various mechanical and electronic tools.
- Ensure compliance with written procedures and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and tests.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Verify part documentation and serialize parts as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training preferred.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in industrial, mechanical, or machining product inspection.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and reading blueprints.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
