This is a dynamic position that touches all of Bristol Health's computer systems and hardware. Most work will be done independently. This person will troubleshoot computer problems in person, remotely by using computer remoting tools, by telephone, or via email in a timely and professional fashion, providing all aspects of end-user I.T. support where needed. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Experience with IT Help Desk assisting users and troubleshooting hardware and software issues preferred.
Basic understanding of unlocking users and changing passwords in Active Directory
Collaborate with network Engineers to ensure efficient operation of the BH Health's network, server and desktop environment. Includes virtual and wireless environments.
Where required, administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products.
Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding computer problems.
Respond to and perform moves, adds, and changes (MAC) requests for all IT hardware.
Monitoring desktop and laptop performance, and provide performance statistics when needed.
Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
Maintain an inventory of all IT computer hardware, including desktop PC's, laptops, thin clients, monitors, keyboards, webcams, hard drives, and other IT components and equipment.
Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
When necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
Assist vendors and healthcare providers to install, maintain and troubleshoot Healthcare related computer equipment.
Assist in the setup and troubleshooting of smartphones (iPhones and Androids) as well as handheld mobile units and peripheral scanning devices.
May be asked to cover the I.T. Help Desk on rare occasions if staff members are unavailable.
Good communication and organizational skills needed as well as exceptional customer service skills
Qualifications
Educational / Minimum Requirements:
Must have a minimum of an I.T. Technical Certificate/Diploma or High School Diploma. An Associates degree or higher in computer science or related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience as a desktop technician, Help Desk technician or related computer support field is preferred.
Must be willing and able to be on-call for IT support on an approximate 8 week rotating basis.

The Supervisor of IT will be responsible for managing and improving the use of PowerSchool and database management system-wide, in collaboration with school leadership and district departments. Duties of the position include the following:
Administer and improve the PowerSchool database, including:
Data mining (strong ability to extract data using DDE/DDA) and creating object reports, SQL reports, labels;
Perform PowerSchool tasks and procedures (store grades, end-of-year roll over, PSIS, PowerScheduler, exports to databases, single sign-on connections, etc.);
Develop procedures and training manuals;
Ensure accuracy of data and troubleshoot problems;
Support building administrators with PowerScheduler training and support.
Oversee and complete state reporting including, but not limited to: PSIS, ED166, CRDC, Attendance, etc.;
Provide support to students and parents who reach out via the IT support email address;
Provide support for all cloud-based initiatives;

Job responsibilities include periodic maintenance on all hardware systems. This includes regularly scheduled cleaning of systems as well as updating of all software to ensure that patch levels are maintained.
Work with the IT team to ensure that all back-up system procedures are being performed accurately and on schedule. Perform regular testing of backup systems. Maintain documentation of backups.
Assist with special projects, equipment rollouts, software upgrades and other functions of the department as needed. These tasks may need to be done “off-hours” so employee must be able to have some flexibility to work different hours if necessary. These tasks will be scheduled in advance wherever possible.
Comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) regulations. This includes maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and implementing best practices for data protection.

Required Qualifications:
+ Three years equivalent cloud systems administration, configuration, and migration experience.
+ Experience with support, configuration, and maintenance of Hybrid Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud environment.
+ Ability to work as part of a team that shares and documents knowledge.
+ Strong written and communication skills
+ Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
Preferred, but not required, experience in the following:
+ Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
+ Possessing a cloud certification
+ Experience in a GCC High Cloud environment.
+ Experience using virtual computing technologies, including working knowledge of VMWare/Hyper-V/OpenShift
+ Working knowledge of NIST SP800-171requirements
+ Experience with SharePoint Administration
+ Experience integrating Microsoft communication and collaboration tools into business processes.
+ Possessing Security+ or equivalent certifications.
+ Working knowledge of cyber-security implementation methodologies
+ Strong knowledge of incident management and change management best practices.
+ Experience implementing Kubernetes.
