Provide technical support for governmental agencies drafting new specifications or revising existing specification that relate to pavement marking products and their application.
Provide product development feedback to R&D regarding product application and field performance with the objective of maximizing customer satisfaction, minimizing costs, and ensuring high level of product performance for the end user.
Provide technical support for new product introduction including test installation, gathering of field data, writing product data sheets, specifications, and application guidelines.
Provide support to the manufacturing plants to identify and correct any issues (material, process, procedure, etc.) that negatively affect product performance.
Provide input to Sales and Marketing regarding potential market opportunities for new products or new application of existing products

Hire, mentor, and evaluate tech service staff - assign coverage.

Qualifications

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, vendors, and partners. Communicate product updates, gather feedback, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Release Planning & Execution: Coordinate and manage product releases, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Work closely with development teams to plan and execute successful product launches.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimize product performance, enhance user experience, and drive adoption.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budgets, personnel, and vendor relationships, to ensure successful product delivery and ongoing support.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across various teams, including development, operations, sales, marketing, and support, to ensure a cohesive and integrated product experience.
Team Leadership (Dependent Upon People Management): Lead and manage a small team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or related field.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta.
Preferred:
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Experience in product management, preferably in the IT industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum).
Ability to lead change, manage projects, and coordinate system integrations for assigned products.
Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence vendors and stakeholders.
Ability to design, deliver & manage quality outcomes for assigned products.
Ability to apply technical concepts, methodologies, and tools to effectively solve complex problems and/or deliver technical solution.
