Summary
The Director of Epic Applications Training is responsible for the development of training courses and materials for trainers, super users, and end users across multiple applications and related systems. This role oversees application learning and development strategies while working closely with IT and operational leadership to assess and coordinate training needs throughout the lifecycle of core IT systems, including Ambulatory, Patient Access and Revenue Cycle, Business, Inpatient, and Telemedicine & Training functions.
Success in this role requires strong experience in training design, implementation, and optimization of electronic health records (EHR) and related systems to support patient care and business operations. The incumbent will lead initiatives that advocate for the effective use of information technology, align training solutions with organizational goals, and mentor leaders and staff to ensure continuous development and training excellence. Responsibilities:
Planning & Strategic Vision
Provide strategic direction for applications training and professional development initiatives.
Develop and communicate short-term and long-term objectives for the training program to align with organizational goals.

Fiscal & Resource Management
Oversee the annual budget and operational plan for training initiatives, ensuring financial responsibility.

Training & Customer Support
