Our team in Chesapeake, VA has an immediate need for an IT Technician 2 with demonstrated experience providing general infrastructure support, including responding to and updating trouble calls; performing break-fix troubleshooting and analysis of problems; and performing repair activities in order to return equipment, systems or networks to normal operational status. Primary responsibilities include: • Conduct troubleshooting and perform break/fix activities on shipboard IT networks using a satellite connection to connect, login, and conduct work • Coordinate remote support needed with StratasCorp Technician Dispatcher and Remote Administration team, as well as shipboard crew, to ensure work performed is in line with contract priorities • Gather data as needed and provide to StratasCorp teams to respond to data calls • Prepare and provide daily work reports This is not a remote position. Employees are expected to be in the Chesapeake office, daily. Requirements • Must possess current IAT II certification, including an appropriate Computing Environment certification, in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M • Must have 5 years of progressive IT technical experience in an enterprise-scale environment • Must possess knowledge or skillset in some or all of the following areas: Windows Server (2008r2/2012/2016), Windows Workstation (7/10), virtualization technologies (VMWare Server/Microsoft Hyper-V), computer network troubleshooting, Microsoft Active Directory (user and group administration), Microsoft Exchange (2007/2010/2016)

Location: In-Person Position - Virginia Beach Corporate Office Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Tier I support for IT Help Desk/LOS Help desk via ZenDesk Service Desk Software within allotted SLAs. Provide basic IT support for hardware and software of office staff, including but not limited to: installation and support of local printers, issuance of additional hardware (keyboards, mice, docking stations, monitors, etc.), and basic Office 365 user support. Provide technical assistance for questions and problems with the current Loan Operating System along with troubleshooting to quickly resolve issues as they come up. This includes answering questions received daily from Production and Ops staff on any issues they encounter with Mortgage Director such as errors on AUS submissions, import errors, data entry, etc. Assist department head with set-up and access on all employee workstations. Act as a liaison between our staff and the LOS Vendor when it is necessary to log a ticket with the vendor to resolve an issue or request. Attend all user and Administrator training sessions as established by vendors. Assist department head with the configuration and operation of LOS which includes Fees, Programs, Employees, Company Tables, Security Settings, Task/Status Items, Interface Setups, Online App/Web Admin, etc. Assist department head with the creating and maintain Data Checks in PCL to help remind users of missing items within a loan, required elements, etc. along with maintaining any Data Check Bundles which act as hard stops for the completion of certain Dates within a loan. Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years residential mortgage production experience. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Creative, flexible and a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person/phone.
