Our Deployment Operations Techs are key players in affecting positive change and making scalable innovations a reality. As part of the Network Deployment team, you will serve in day-to-day field deployment activities. The team's focus is the production and execution of our projects. The role includes providing feedback to engineering and standards teams. The team will participate in the ongoing operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the network and, if required, the removal of existing fiber networks. The team is made up of experts in this methodology and will assist in the training of others. Our projects have deliverables tracked through key performance indicators. Role Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Intern to help source, research, and verify exciting events and happenings across the LA area and work with another developer to build out our platform. Your responsibilities will include discovering and assessing the quality and relevance of local events, organizing information about the event and host, attending selected events to ensure they align with our community's expectations, and assisting in frontend/backend IOS Native app development work. You'll play a vital role in building the MVP of the product and curating the experiences for our users. This internship is part-time (approximately 10-20 hours per week), with a flexible schedule that includes weekday research hours and weekend/evening event attendance as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Apply knowledge of most desktop technologies and the company specific environment configurations to analyze and solve a wide range of issues in the desktop computing environment. * Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, setting up new users, configuring mobile devices, fixing printer issues, and rebuilding computers. * Identify equipment requirements including hard drives, phone and other technical equipment in accordance with corporate guidelines. * Provide an initial level of support for server based application solutions. * Provide guidance and assistance to employees to ensure they have the right technology and that it is configured properly. * Assure software license and asset information is properly maintained. * Participate in IT Operations projects encompassing a range of technologies as needs arise. * Operate IT service management system to dispatch and maintain tickets to facilitate proper ticket flow and accurate data in reporting.
