Key Responsibilities
Operational IT Systems:

DevOps Integration:

The Importance of the Role
The Information Technology (IT) department is seeking an IT co-op who will be responsible for front line support for hardware (laptops, printers, iPhone, iPad), software (installations, troubleshooting), permissions (Active Directory, Entra AD, Okta), and other services as they arise. The co-op will also be a contributing member on projects as directed by management. This is a great hands-on opportunity for students who are looking for experience in systems administration in the biotech industry!
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
This application is for a 6-month co-op program that will start on July 7th, 2025, and conclude on December 19th, 2025. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, co-op program.
Provide front line technical assistance for computer hardware, software systems, and printers/copiers.
Respond to inquiries via email, phone, walk-up or ticketing system. Document all support incidents via our Help Desk Ticketing system and close tickets once issues have been resolved.
Set up and install desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other peripheral equipment and keep current with the latest firmware.
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve reported issues (software, hardware, and processes) in a logical and systematic method.
Identify opportunities for scripting and automation.
Identify and escalate issues to appropriate groups as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
More about You
Undergraduate, junior or senior, pursuing a degree in Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Engineering, or Computer and Information Systems Security.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft products.
Knowledgeable about IT Systems.
Some experience in hardware installation.
Demonstrate strong work ethics, self-motivation, and reliability.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
Resourceful and creative in resolving issues.
Capable of multi-tasking various, and sometimes conflicting, priorities.
Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently when needed.
Ability to physically lift and carry approximately fifty (50) pounds.
