    Our client a global provider of online retail is looking to hire a Supply Chain Systems Engineer to join their team in North Reading, Massachusetts. This is a 10-month contract opportunity! As their Supply Chain Systems Engineer you will be the expert for our supply chain systems, leading technical implementations, maintaining master data governance, developing training programs, and providing critical support for our manufacturing operations. You'll streamline workflows through automation, resolve complex technical issues, and continuously enhance our systems to improve operational efficiency. Core Responsibilities: System Implementation & Architecture • Support technical implementation of supply chain systems including SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, and Tulip • Provide expertise during new feature development and testing • Develop system architecture and integration solutions between platforms • Create and maintain system documentation, technical material, standard operating procedures, and training materials • Design and implement automated workflows and system controls • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple stakeholders and drive adoption • Manage system enhancement projects from requirements through deployment • Ensure compliance with change management and release procedures Business Analysis & Requirements • Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements • Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications • Design, develop and maintain data visualizations and analytical reports to support business decision-making and monitor KPIs • Maintain product feature roadmap and prioritize enhancement requests • Develop business cases and ROI analysis for system improvements Master Data & System Administration • Establish and maintain master data governance frameworks • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations • Develop and maintain comprehensive troubleshooting guides and decision trees • Perform root cause corrective action (RCCA) analysis for system issues • Conduct periodic system health checks and performance reviews • Serve as primary SME for RMTO's supply chain systems providing technical guidance on system capabilities and limitations Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of professional experience in system engineering, inventory management, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field • Extensive expertise in implementing and configuring supply chain systems • Deep understanding of supply chain system concepts and applications • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams • Proficient in data analysis, programming, and system integration • Strong SQL skills and experience with API integrations • Experience in technical writing and requirements documentation • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, system engineering, or a related technical field Preferred Qualifications: • Certified SAP Associate, Certified Kinaxis Author, or another Advanced User certification • Expert knowledge in SAP S/4HANA, Tulip, and/or Kinaxis • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization • Experience with agile methodologies and project management • APICS Certification CPIM or CSCP
