Assembly / System Test Technician
Hourly position responsible for Assembly and System test of Line Cards and Products for Infinera New Product Introduction (NPI) located in Allentown, PA Third Shift
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
Assemble multiple Infinera products together to create a system-level Staging Test to ensure product quality at customer sites
Create product troubleshooting guides.
Support failure analysis and root cause identification and corrective action implementation of components, sub-systems, and field failures.
Education / Experience
Minimum 2-year degree or 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of system-level telecommunication equipment a plus
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

You'll make sure our outside plant facilities are in tip-top condition! Your know-how and commitment to excellence will ensure that Verizon's outside facilities operate at maximum efficiency and preparedness.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant, including aerial, underground, submarine, buried, block and house cables, poles, and associated hardware/fixtures.
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, building or poles.
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders.
Performing construction work using designated equipment (i.e. digging holes, placing poles, etc.).
Operating Company motor vehicles of varying gross weights to transport equipment.
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs.
Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business.

Design radio transceiver blocks, such as PA, LNA, mixer, TIA, LPF, VGA, ADC/DAC, etc.Design LO blocks, such as crystal oscillator, RF synthesizer, LO distribution network.Design Analog blocks, such as Bandgap, POR, LDO, DC-DC converter, Low power clock, power detector, ESD, test mux, etc.Guide layout engineer to do the layout, and able to do the critical layout individually with DRC/LVS/xRC.Work with the team to define the block specs, doing link budget analysis, noise, linearity, phase noise, SNR, and EVM optimization.Work with the team on RC calibration, VCO calibration, IQ calibration, DC offset calibration, DPD, etc.Perform mix signal verification using AMS, Verilog, and system Verilog.Perform RF/analog and digital layout integration.Write test plans, perform design verification, and ATE production support.
Qualification:

Architecture and micro-architecture of digital subsystems
RTL design of digital circuits using Verilog
Frontend design development and integration of large ASIC designs including: Integration of Processors, Bus, Memory, and Interface IPs
Chip level integration and verification
RTL design and integration of large functional blocks in the modem - Development, assessment and refinement of RTL design to target power, performance, area and timing goals
Write design documents including detailed interface descriptions and design descriptions
Work with Verification Engineers to develop specifications and test plans. Ensure robust design and complete coverage
Work with Emulation teams to test the design on various emulation platforms
Work with Software and Systems teams on system verification and system integration
Writing test cases and test benches to verify functionality of designs
Required Skills & Experience:
BSEE required/MSEE preferred
5-12 years of experience in SoC design
