Essential Functions: •Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements as scheduled. •Electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment as needed. •Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. •Assist with disassembling/re-assembling of machinery including modifications as required. •Assist with general building maintenance. •Log all work on the C-Works System (85% required). •Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. •Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. •Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Manufacturing experience preferred. Physical Demands: This position is required to stand and walk up to 2/3 of the time. This position is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch, talk or hear more than 2/3 of the time. This position does require the individual to lift up to 100 pounds. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or humid as well as cold conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, louder than normal environments, and high paced atmosphere.
