Pros of working at Indianapolis Zoo

I loved how many amazing parts there were to this company. Everyone working here truly had a passion for the work they were doing.

I think this is a common issue everywhere, but negativity was very common even though the company is being led by professional and hardworking people. And in a great place The negativity gets to a person after a while.

His commitment to bringing each department together with a monthly meeting to talk about updates in the company.

How would you improve Indianapolis Zoo's culture?

Continue trying to bring each department closer. Find ways to create more community within the company.

How did you prepare for the Indianapolis Zoo interview?

I thought through my experience in the field i was applying for and wanted to be honest and portray a commitment to hardwork.

How does your compensation at Indianapolis Zoo compare to the industry average?

Technically this is a low pay on average for a professional in horticulture. However, a lot of the staff were new and just starting out in the field. So the pay made sense in that case.

What's the diversity at Indianapolis Zoo like?

I appreciated the fact that woman are in high positions along within the company. However, that seem to be the only diversity I could see maybe besides age differences.

What brings you the most joy at Indianapolis Zoo?

I enjoyed making people proud of our city. We made something special and beautiful and families had the opportunity to have amazing moments together.
