Summary
The Maintenance Technician can perform a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in safe and effective working conditions. GENERAL SUMMARY:
Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Transport store-delivery freight as well as store returns and backhauls over-the-road in a safe, efficient, and timely manner adhering to all Dollar General policies and state and federal regulations. 40%
Unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery in a safe and efficient manner. 30%
This includes:
Rolling rolltainers off the trailer onto a lift gate and placing them into the backroom of the store;
Unloading individual boxes and/or totes as required and placing them in the backroom of the store;
Reloading return rolltainers and product onto the trailer and returning these items to the Distribution Center; and
Safely securing all freight and rolltainers at each stop before sealing the trailer.
Provide professional customer service to all parties including store teams, backhaul vendors, and distribution employees. 10%
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations. 10%
Ensure operation of the vehicle is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. 10%

Responsibilities
This is a HYBRID opportunity, with 2-3 days onsite at Chicago, Westmont Office
Champion initiatives that identify facility risk, prioritize risk reduction measures, and drive closure of recommendations to reduce the identified risks.
This role has the primary responsibility for reviewing, updating and maintaining EHS programs and policies, including development and implementation.
Provide active and positive leadership to develop a safety-minded culture across the organization and drive continuous EHS improvement.
Manage the Facility Audit Process to identify weaknesses or risks and proactively develop and implement corrective actions; ensure appropriate investigation of and response to notices of violations, incidents or injuries.
Ensure consistent and professional communication with the customer, both internal and external.
Lead projects and provide guidance when needed.
Develop EHS training requirements and ensure completion for both technical/management and operator levels.
Manage daily/weekly/monthly Safety and Environmental metrics and reporting.
Develop, implement, and maintain an emergency response plan that meets or exceeds industry standards.
Organize and lead teams/committees to identify and implement safety improvements, waste reductions, and resource conservation.
Act as a role model for all associates and adhere to the company core values.
Establish guidelines governing the collection and maintenance of employee training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports, or other documentation.
Manage incident reporting and investigation process, ensuring corrective actions are tracked to completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in EHS or related field.
Minimum five (5) years' EHS experience in general industry. Preferably in the auto repair industry.
Strong motivation and the ability to work independently.

Summary
HVAC Technician is capable of performing in all areas related to HVAC systems and Building Automation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Install new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines, depending upon the immediate needs of the department. While HVAC Technicians may have developed skills in one or more areas, all are expected to be able to perform general Maintenance and repair in all areas of assignment.
Reports to the Supervisor of HVAC Maintenance and provides support to the HVAC Team.
Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; basic activities such as electrical, plumbing.
Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
Document all work order activities.
Responsible for productivity/accountability of assigned work orders and daily activities.
Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures/policies and ensure compliance with all company policies, building codes and safety initiatives as assigned.
Support projects including collaborating with leadership and contractor/vendors, as assigned.
Punch list all assigned projects and tasks to ensure alignment to company standards and specifications.
Participate in all Preventive Maintenance tasks and Inventory Management as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of verifiable assignment-related maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift 70 pounds
EPA Certification Type I and II required; Universal preferred
Commercial experience
Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
Energy Management Systems and DDC Controls experience.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
Must be able to navigate computers and applicable software.
Ability to be flexible with work assignment and schedules.
Obtain Power Equipment and Man-lift License.
