As a Ports & Maritime Engineer, you'll have the chance to work with our global multi-disciplinary team of engineers on ports and maritime projects worldwide. You'll be involved as part of the team with design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to large scale international port developments. We'll provide you the challenge of working on coordination and design of structural rehabilitation and retrofit projects as well as new marine structures. Evaluate incoming change order requests to determine their feasibility, impact on the project schedule, budget, and potential risks. Collaborate with estimators and project managers to estimate the cost implications of proposed changes. The Mechanical Inspector is responsible for full-time, site-based surveillance and focused inspection of work on one or more significant water or wastewater infrastructure projects. These individual monitors and documents construction work in progress, verifies conformance with construction drawings and specifications, and provides general coordination with various project stakeholders at the field level. The main project is in Westchester County, NY. The individual will be required to work at the project location daily.
