Your primary job will be to: Perform daily routine cleaning of spaces which may include dorm buildings, office spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and indoor teaching spaces. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping high touch surfaces, replacing paper products, and other general cleaning. Perform cyclic cleaning such as window cleaning, washing rugs, waxing floors, deep cleaning of the kitchen walk-in refrigerators and freezers, etc. Clean and detail vehicle interiors and windows. Participate in lawn care, painting, and grounds maintenance. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with all staff, program participants, and guests. Perform physical tasks such as moving equipment, supplies, and furniture. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the skilled nursing facility, and all common areas of the facility. This position is also responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness and quality on the facility. Position Responsibilities include: Provides daily cleaning of assigned resident units, assisted living center, skilled nursing facility, community center and other common areas. Responsibilities include some of the following tasks: Mops floor with germicidal solution. Dust mops floor with treated dust mop. Removes trash. Dust furniture and fixtures. Dusts mini-blinds and horizontal dusting. Cleans bathrooms (shower walls, tub, commode, vanity area, mirrors, etc.). Cleans windows and window tracks. Vacuums floors and edges. Other areas as deemed necessary. Maintains good public relations with residents. Stocks housekeeping cart at end of shift. Has a basic understanding of infection control. Has a basic knowledge of chemical usage. Qualifications Education: High school education or vocational training preferred. Job Knowledge: Experience in housekeeping activities and use of supplies preferred. The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
