Under the direction of the Beranek Room Host, greet and serve guests in the Beranek Room, the members-only donor lounge of the BSO Development Office.
Regularly assigned hours are from two hours prior to all BSO subscription season concerts, through intermission, and as necessary, until all room guests have departed following the concert. Additional hours may be scheduled as needed in order to assist with Beranek Room gatherings outside of the regular assigned hours.
Required Education and Experience

Greet guests and assist them with coats and packages, placing them in the coatroom and retrieving them when the guests are ready to depart
Serve guests their beverage selections from the bar area, as directed by the Host
Assist the Host in the set-up and clean-up of the room, including moving tables and chairs as needed, setting out and putting away flowers, folding tables and chairs, setting out and cleaning up snacks, beverages, and used service items such as cups, glasses, etc.
Assist the Host, as directed, in other ways as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the room and the utmost comfort of the guests
Refrain from personal conversations with guests
Maintain total discretion and respect for the confidentiality of all conversations between guests
NOTE:
Drinking of alcoholic beverages while on duty is absolutely not permitted.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent manners and a warm, courteous, and professional demeanor
Comfort in working with high-level clientele
