Assists the manager on duty in assigning station/table arrangement and reservation assignments. Manage a waiting list as necessary. Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and checks menus to ensure that they are cleaned and updated on a regular basis. Assist in coordinating activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons. Assign and seat guests to tables based on nightly section rotation. Maintain knowledge of the menus and nightly specials. Conclude the guest's experience by thanking them for their visit and welcoming their return upon exit. Resolves any customer issues as necessary. Help with other positions in the restaurant as needed or directed by manager or leads. Accept and confirm dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners. Coordinate to-go orders and payments for members. Qualifications: Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional membership-based restaurant environment. A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all guests and restaurant staff. Perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary. Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
