KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Greet and seat members in a timely fashion and assist them to the table. Conduct walk-throughs of dining room areas and check for defects, ensuring seating arrangements are in order. Check reservation lists and make any necessary callbacks. Wipe down and inspect menus to ensure they are ready for service; print new menus as needed. Check with managers and chefs for daily specials and other pertinent information. Draw up server floor plan(s) with assistance from Manager on Duty. Attend all staff meetings including pre-shift lineup. Communicate with servers and managers about when reservations arrive and if any other edits are made. Always assist members and other staff whenever possible - including assisting with running food, beverage service, clearing tables, and any other tasks that may benefit from your assistance.
