Position Overview
KIRO FM is looking for fill in (on call) talk show host talent. A Host must be able to prepare and deliver entertaining, informative, compelling content for fast-paced local Seattle talk shows. Must have ability to prepare thoughtful, curious topics and present them in a fun, unique manner. Reply to customer concerns about arrival/departure times, R.V site, amenities provided at the resort, road conditions, and shuttle schedule.
Monitor the R.V site snowpack conditions and inform the Parking and Transportation Manager if any treatments or removals need to be scheduled to maximize space between campers.
Monitor the R.V lot daily, reviewing license plate and R.V descriptions to ensure that only reserved customers are parked in reserved slots.
Guide and assist vehicles into each site, maximize the amount of space used for each reservation and ensure customers are using the proper outlet for their R.V.
Control the R.V line, do not block the shuttle lanes.

Part-time Description
Position: Part-Time
Pay: $16.66 hourly and up, DOE.
The Host/Hostess Cashier is responsible for room setup and coordinating activities of the dining room, receive cash from customers or employees in payment for food & beverages received.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take reservations, set up room seating chart and room flow to accommodate the needs for customers.
Greet guests and show them to the dining tables.
Present menu & wine menu, information regarding specials, soup and who their server is.
Take orders and enter orders into the system, collect and record payments.
Make change, cash checks and issue receipts or tickets to customers.
Settle checks for non-gaming revenue presented as payment for food and services.
Verify charges, process credit card payments, batch 'tip' slips for server gratuities.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Collect and forward to supervisor all unused comps and coupons.
Maintain cleanliness of counter and food service area at all times.
Relay all guest complaints/compliments to supervisor; promotes positive public relations.
Obtain food, beverages, condiments and supplies from kitchen or stockroom and deliver to outlet if necessary; maintains adequate stock levels in assigned outlet.
Serve wine to guests, if the server needs assistance.
Perform duties relating to server and busser, as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within the area of responsibility.
Complete all cleaning, stocking and accountability checklists and/or paperwork required for the assigned position.
Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
Six months fast food service or restaurant service experience
OR equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
Class 12 Mixologist Permit/13 Alcohol Server Permit.
Current Washington State Food Worker Card.
