    Airport Meet & Greet for Seattle-Tacoma Airport (seasonal/part-time) Job Duties Check Flight Status - Any delays that may require an amendment to transport allocations need to be communicated to the airport duty supervisor if applicable or the office. Meet & Greet - Make sure you are in a prominent location as close to the exit doors as possible. You should hold the cruise line name sign clearly visible. You need to be vigilant, look for cruise line labels, cruise line tee shirts, excess luggage - these guests are generally east to identify! Roll Call - Once guests have been identified you need to clarify that they are manifested for a transfer and check which ship they are sailing on. Guests should then be handed a transfer ticket which they need to complete and returned when boarding the coach. Baggage tags - Check that all baggage has been labelled with cruise line luggage tags, it is imperative that the name and stateroom number is clearly written on each label. Check that guests have sufficient labels for all their luggage and if necessary, provide them with additional tags. Hand luggage - Guests to be reminded that their documents, passports, medication, and items that they will require within three hours of arriving at the port should be retained in their hand luggage. Oversized hand luggage (trolley bags with wheels) will need to accommodate in luggage compartments and reclaimed at the pier. Hand luggage labels are available. Transport assignments - Once names have been verified a coloured sticker needs to be handed to the guest to confirm their transfer group. The sticker needs to be given to them to put on their lapel, do not stick directly on the guest. Guests should then be advised of approximately time of departure and reminded to keep all luggage with them unless otherwise advised. Guest should be directed to the seating area or departure area, please ensure you are able to advise guests where rest rooms, bureau de change, coffee shops are to answer any questions. Boarding transportation - Once a coach arrival is advised a member of staff will walk around the seating area making an announcement that transportation for guests assign to a certain colour, ship and cruise line is ready to depart. Please check how many guests have been assigned to this departure before escorting them out to the departure bay. Coach boarding - All luggage is placed at the side of coach for loading, as guests board the coach the transfer ticket needs to be collected and any oversized hand luggage labelled and put under the coach in a designated area. After collecting transfer tickets, they need to be put into small envelope with bus number. In the event of no bus number please record vehicle registration and company. An announcement needs to be made prior to departure, see separate guidelines.
