Overview:
Under the supervision of an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic environment and the efficiency of the nursing team. Can provide safe patient transport throughout the facility as directed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPCT certification or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum, and/or a current co-worker of Mercy.
Other: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time remaining alert without distractions from personal business or other personal diversions. Occasional standing and walking.
Preferred Certifications: BLS, optional to obtain after hire
