This is a broad-scoped caregiver position. The Resident Assistant has full responsibility for direct resident care.

Makes appropriate observations about the resident's condition in every interaction.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This Residential Aid position works the overnight 12am (midnight) to 8am shift 5 days a week. The Residential Aid ensures that the participants of the transitional shelter are safe, monitors access to the facility, maintains an accurate count of the number of people in the facility, provides hourly tours of the facility, and maintains confidentiality of the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Distributes information to residents regarding program rules and regulations.

Provides conflict resolution.
Conducts monthly apartment inspections.
