Required qualifications, capabilities and skills • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, systems biology, or a related quantitative or life sciences discipline. • Foundational Knowledge in PK/PD Modeling: Demonstrated understanding of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling principles, including compartmental models, nonlinear kinetics, covariate analysis, and model validation approaches. • Relevant Coursework and Technical Skills: Completion of coursework in PK/PD modeling. Experience with software tools such as NONMEM, Monolix, and coding languages such as R, MATLAB is highly preferred. • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a range of audiences. • Self-Motivated and Curious: Able to work independently, manage timelines effectively, and demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a passion for applying quantitative methods to real-world drug development challenges.
