Position Description:
Laborers have general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project. Laborers provide support for the form carpenters and for the concrete operation in general, ironworkers/rodbusters involved in installing reinforcing steel, and masons involved in the installation of block and brickwork. This is a safety sensitive position.
Essential Duties:
Preparation of areas for the placement of concrete involves final excavation of dirt and rock and fine grading for floor slabs. This work involves shoveling for extended periods of time.
Assembly of concrete forms, laborers are required to lift form prefabricated metal form panels and assist in their placement.
Handle the concrete bucket suspended from a crane that transfers the concrete from the concrete truck to the placement area. After the concrete is poured from the bucket, laborers muck the concrete in slabs to spread it evenly.
After the concrete has cured, the laborers assist in stripping the concrete forms and transporting them for storage.
Assist concrete finishers in moving power trowels and power screeds used to finish the concrete surface.
Support of block masons installing masonry work by handling and transporting bags of cement, lime, sand, and grout. This includes stocking blocks and bricks.
Assist carpenters in handling and setting door frames. This entails transporting the door frames from the storage area to the work areas and stacking the door frames where needed.
Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools. Distribute site materials to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Responsible for ensuring that all materials are properly distributed, and the site is swept and well maintained.
Promote a safe work environment and communicate jobsite hazards. This includes helping to secure the jobsite at the end of business each day and verifying that all site materials are properly stored.

Position Overview: Loenbro Industrial Services Group is seeking experienced, skilled pipefitters to join our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for planning and installing all piping systems for our Casper, WY Fab Shop or other projects/sites as assigned. You should have ample experience in welding, joining, and installing a variety of piping systems, as well as installing manual and electric safety valves.
Job Duties:
* Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts.
* Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are properly adjusted prior to working on the piping system.
* Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel
* Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed.
* Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment.
* Thread, weld, solder piping together.
* Consult with job site management for hole placements in walls and bulkheads.
* Ensure pipe sizes, hangers, supports, and joint needs for accurate flow.
* Cut and alter the piping to ensure the correct sizes.
* Perform trial runs and tests on pipe systems.
* Repair and reinforce broken, cracked, or inadequate systems or pipes.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Three years' experience as a pipefitter or pipe-fitter apprenticeship preferred.
* High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required.
* Must meet all state license requirements.
* Accurate and precise attention to detail.
* Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems
* TWIC Card Certification or ability to obtain.
Essential Requirements:
* Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day.
* Use of respirator if position requires.
* Outside in a fabrication shop environment most of the time.
* Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
* Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment
* Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
* Limited working surfaces.
* Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
* Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
* Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time for required tasks.
* Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
* Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
* If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.

JOB TITLE:
Journeyman Plumber
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform journeyman-level plumbing work required to inspect, repair and maintain University water, gas, drainage, utility and heating systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify complex commercial and industrial mechanical systems such as regular utilities, heating, cooling, ventilating, process piping systems, pressure vessels, boilers, fire protection systems, temperature control systems, control valves, and all other plumbing fixtures on campus.
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify the steam-generating, distribution and utilization system including both the high and low-pressure sides of the system.
Field design, layout, fabricate and install any and all of the systems listed above.
Read and interpret construction drawings, sketches and plans to determine equipment and materials required and appropriate methods of installation.
Use rule, spirit level and plumb bob to locate passages for pipe through walls and floors.
Cut pipe passageways using manual and power tools; bend pipe using a bending machine or hand methods.
Join pipe using screws, bolts, solder, solvents, slip and threaded joint fitting, and caulking.
Inspect gas heating and water systems for damage including unsafe or unsanitary conditions, or for building code violations; recommend or take remedial action to bring gas heating and water systems to appropriate levels of safety and sanitation.
Perform work in specialized plumbing areas by replacing plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, hot water tanks, water treatment equipment, clean and repair sewer lines, drains, traps, and septic tanks; install, repair, and maintain hot water and steam heating systems; install, repair, and maintain burning equipment such as furnaces, ranges, grills, and fryers; repair and maintain various types and sizes of pumps.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Recognize and report to appropriate department hazardous materials including asbestos, lead and mercury.
This position has been deemed
essential
as addressed in the University of Wyoming's Employee Handbook. Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job duties and the reasons for the closure.

General Purpose
An Equipment Serviceman-A is a Journeyman who is:

Responsibilities

* Overseeing of vendors to ensure repairs are done to Pacificorp standards.
* Processing of billing to ensure timely vendor payment.
Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
* Must be a Journeyman Equipment Serviceman; or have 5 years verifiable automotive mechanic experience
* Must pass a Rocky Mountain Power Journeyman Mechanic test, provided by RMP.
* Must possess or able to obtain a class A CDL license within 90 days of hire.
* Must supply own hand tools common for journeyman mechanics.
Preferences
* Derrick and aerial equipment repair experience.
