We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter responsible for the installation of both new construction and retro fit fire sprinkler applications. A successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of NFPA Standards, OSHA regulations, and be an organized self-starter with sound communication skills. SUMMMARY OF DUTIES: Makes repairs to any part of the drainage system, steam and hot water, heating, cast iron water lines, high pressure steam lines, hydraulic elevator lines, sprinkler systems, and other duties as assigned. Building Maintenance: Master Plumber position provides plumbing services to all school department buildings, specifically identifying repair and/or replacement needs and ensuring compliance with accessibility and safety codes/regulations. This position reports directly to the Director of Facilities in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Facilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings of plumbing systems to determine the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems and repairs.
