A pipefitter is responsible for planning and installing all piping systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for our commercial and industrial building projects. Experience in welding, joining, and installing a variety of piping systems for water distribution and waste water disposal, as well as installing manual and electric safety valves is required. Installation of pipe for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems is typical in this position. Pipefitters work in cooperation with other trades and laborers to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, to ensure efficient completion of any project. Providing adequate services, by a qualified pipefitter, will ensure that all water supply networks and waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Oversee and supervise project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments to job site manager. 2.
