* Assist Fitter/Foreman on sprinkler install jobs, traveling to job sites as required by the specific assignment.
* Lay out and connect pipes using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
* Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
* Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
* Follow Safety rules and requirements.
Qualifications
* No prior fire protection experience required, just a demonstrated ability and desire to learn and help Good mechanical aptitude and works well with hands
* Willing to commute/travel to jobsites as needed
* Consistent attendance and punctuality
* Positive attitude and desire to learn and strive for success
* Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as working within ducts, crawl spaces, climbing a ladder, outside in the heat or cold, on lift equipment, or dirty environments
* Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
