Sweeps and mops kitchen and cafeteria areas daily. Cleans storage, food preparation and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions. Wash and dry dishes, take out trashes and broken-down boxes, clean dining area and stock items in serving areas as needed. Assists in the set up and breakdown of breakfast and lunch service. Performs routine deep clean of kitchen area including sweeping/mopping kitchen floor, cleaning inside and out of reach-ins, cleaning steam table, fryolator, etc. Maintains dishwashing station and three-compartment sink and related areas. May assist with light food preparation as needed. Assists in guaranteeing a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food preparation that ensures safe working practices are followed.
