ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Places parts on and off racks as needed. • Performs bending of aluminum wires on racks to ensure parts are secure and adequately placed. • Tightens bolts and screws with equipment and tools on saddle racks to ensure they are secure. • May assist the Plater in cleaning tanks. • Performs visual inspection of parts to ensure no over plating. • Use air hose to dry parts upon completion of plating cycle. • Prepares and packages parts for shipping. • Adheres to safety regulations. • Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Comfortable using basic tools (i.e. wire cutters and air hose). • Comfortable working on a platform with tanks of acid and chemicals. • Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions. ITAR REQUIREMENT: Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time. • Ability to wear a respirator. • Moderate pushing and pulling. • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. • Exposed heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas. • Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
