Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Hand unloads incoming Greenstock or supplies onto pallets from incoming trailers. Recycle the jars and dump the bags in the cooler. Grading Room: Supervise the flow of Greenstock. Sweep the floor as required and remove garbage and chip off grade to the appropriate plant location. Transport totes and tanks of Greenstock to various areas of the plant. Net pickles in the line when needed and cut. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. Bucket Operation: Transport empty pails from the storage area to the five-gallon line. Feed and/or stack five-gallon pails on the production line. Transport empty skids to the bucket line. General housekeeping and sanitation of their work area. Net pickles to the grading belt when necessary. Start application of lids on buckets by hammering. Greenstock Cooler: Dump tote bins, boxes and/or tanks into Osaka tanks supplying the grading area. Remove Greenstock tickets from bins/boxes. Supervise the conveyor system to accurately control the amount of Greenstock in the soaker tank and encourage the washers. Remove skids and cardboard (wooded totes) from the dumper.
