This person must be flexible when tasks are assigned, and adjustments must be made in order to lessen the disruption of our patients' schedules and routines. The Laborer's responsibilities involve preventative maintenance for the building, grounds, and equipment for the main facility, 6 residential hospital units, school/gym facility, and camp buildings which are located on an 80-acre campus. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position will be required to adjust work hours to accommodate any hospital emergencies. Salary: $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities: Cuts grass, weeds, trees, shrubs, and brush; cleans culverts, drains and ditches; moves, assists with digging post holes and ditches, loads and unloads materials, supplies and equipment; hauls or carries sand, lumber, asphalt and cement or other materials; occasionally operates forklift or tractor.
