What We're Looking For:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes, but not limited to the following:
Cuts, punches, flanges, shears, and solders sheet metal ducts and parts.
Cuts threads and packs pipes.
Cements insulation in place over finished piping or tubing.
Passes electrical wire through conduit, splices wire connections, and tapes wire.
Assembles sheet metal components of prefabricated furnaces.
Replaces exhausted or defective containers of refrigerant with new refrigerant.
Lubricates fans, motors, and control units.
Installs air and water filters in completed assembly.
Furnishes worker with materials, tools, and supplies.
Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Operation and maintenance of gas operated saws, generators, water pumps, string trimmers, t-post pounders. Use of hand tools to clear and harvest vegetation: machete, hand saws, rakes, shovels, etc. Work hours are as assigned, up to 60 hours per week as needed.
Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends.
Must provide own transportation to and from the Fisheries building.
Must be willing to work in remote, off-reservation locations for protracted periods including overnight stays which may involve camping.
Ability to write simple data records and field observation notes.
