Uses pitchforks, shovels, and similar hand tools to pick up general refuse, garbage, recyclables, trash, and yard trash from curbside and other areas as instructed. Rides with truck to disposal locations and/or recycling centers; assists truck operator and disposal personnel in off-loading. Assists truck driver in fueling and checking all fluid levels of assigned truck, including spares; cleans out trucks, including cab interior, daily, upon route completion. Performs related work as required.

JOB SUMMARY:
This is an entry-level position. Works under direction of a Journey level position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Help move equipment, product, and tools in the shop areas.
Help tag, bundle, palletize, and / or cart up fabrication.
Other duties as assigned.
Are being trained to use certain hand tools, and shop equipment.
Observe safety requirements and safe work practices and methods as required.
Bring optimization to work every day.
Always be in control of your destiny.
Never stop learning.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform all monthly inspections as required.
