ILLUSTRATIVE TASKS
Performs waste, recyclable, and yard trash pickup at garbage disposal areas of commercial, residential, and other designated locations. Performs curbside pickup in residential areas. Uses pitchforks, shovels, and similar hand tools to pick up general refuse, garbage, recyclables, trash, and yard trash from curbside and other areas as instructed. Rides with truck to disposal locations and/or recycling centers; assists truck operator and disposal personnel in off-loading. Assists truck driver in fueling and checking all fluid levels of assigned truck, including spares; cleans out trucks, including cab interior, daily, upon route completion. Performs related work as required.

Contech Helper
Wilsonart, Temple has an immediate opening for a Contech Helper. This individual Obtain raw materials to be collated at specified lengths as determined by the Product Quality Department. Make sure machine is running properly at all times. Performs other task as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain Kraft rolls for collating as needed.
Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can.
Continually monitor raw materials for visual quality and line up, make any necessary adjustments.
Thread machine up; make splices and re-thread machine as needed.
Change out pallets and make sure corresponding tags are placed in each completed pallet.
Set up rolls for oncoming crew.
Regular attendance required.
Train in back up positions as required (Phenolic/Corestock).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the Production areas and other pertinent rules / regulations governing.

Six months experience in corestock/phenolic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy work. Tasks involves pushing / pulling of material up to 100 lbs., lifting up to 85 lbs. from floor to mid-thigh, lift up to 50 lbs. from mid-thigh to shoulder, lift 40 lbs. from shoulder to overhead, carry up to 135 lbs. and standing and walking during a minimum ten hour shift.
ENVIRONMENT: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. Examples: engineering, waste mgt, laundry workers and yards/grounds staff

Duties and Responsibilities
Unload and load furniture, product, equipment or supplies.
Assist in loading and securing all moving equipment necessary for the job in truck/van.
Load and unload of warehouse storage vaults, general warehouse work, and packing material salvage.
Carefully wrap furniture in residence or office, wrap fixtures with pads to prevent damage, shrink wrap all upholstered furniture.
Learn to eventually prepare inventories for international, interstate, intrastate, and storage.
Pad, stack, and secure items in position on van/truck/vault to prevent damage during transport.
Load and unload truck/van/vault with or without assistance of help by hand or by use of hand-truck, two-wheel dolly, four-wheeled cart, or other special handling equipment.
Assist in preparation of destination residence/office for delivery of goods.
Place rug runners and door jam protectors in place, sweep front porch, steps and drive-in pathway to residence/office to remove debris. Install driveway protection under vehicle engine.
Place and arrange furniture to customer's specifications and satisfaction.
May need to reassemble some furniture or shelving.
Assist in ensuring that equipment is accounted for and all debris is removed from residence/office.
