* Pull broke from belt during a paper break

* Assist 6th hand when needed
* Any shutdown tasks required
* Conduct forklift checklist
* Bust all rolls and ribbons produced
* Any other tasks the Team Leader requests

The Fire Protection Sprinkler Helper will assist the Sprinkler Fitter with the assembly and installation of fire protection sprinkler systems, installing sprinkler pipe, inspections, deficiencies, and repairs on various job sites within our new construction division.
Essential Functions:
* Inspects, repairs, tests, adjusts and removes sprinkler systems
* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
* Selects specified type and size of pipe
* Cuts, threads and hangs pipe
* Assists in the installation of valves, couplings and other fittings
* Assists in the lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation
* Follows proper construction practices and company policy
* Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Required:
* Minimum of 6 months construction or customer service experience; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
* Knowledge of basic tools and materials
* Understands and practices the proper use of power and hand tools

Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
