What You Will Do:
Show up for work on time with all proper personal protective equipment and ready to go.
Partner with the driver to safely navigate the truck, especially in backing.

Helper will not ride on the truck step while backing.
Collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner, placing containers back in their original location.
Ensure any spilled or dropped debris is properly cleaned up.

After receiving proper training, operates the packer controls to compact debris in the truck.

Assist the driver with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and notify driver of any equipment problems.
Assist the driver with ensuring the vehicle is always kept clean and in a presentable condition, in accordance with company standards.

Retail Program
PURPOSE:
To perform material handling as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists Truck Driver in unloading /loading trucks.
Helps to direct Truck Driver when back in to locations, etc.
Moving of product from one location to another.
General housekeeping and safety.
General building maintenance: sweep floors/sweep shovel sidewalks as directed.
Quality and material control.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; push or pull.
Must be able to occasionally sit, kneel, and climb.

The manner in which the individual responds to special requests of the Truck Driver, Store Manager/Assistant Manager, Senior Sales Manager, , Vice President of Retail Store Operations, and President and CEO.

The level of self-motivation and enthusiasm demonstrated by the Truck Helper/Laborer.
