Job Summary: The Plumber provides fully skilled technical services within the Plumbing department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Locating and marking positions of pipe and connections. Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and fittings. Cutting, threading and bending pipe composed of iron, steel, brass, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools. Maintain inventory and equipment on a daily basis. Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 3-4 years Journeyman experience in plumbing. Thorough working knowledge of dispensing (liquid) units and fire systems. Working knowledge of the plumbing code and industry trends. Valid Drivers license.
