Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:
Plant and transplant bulbs, seeds, flowers, shrubs and small trees.
Prune, weed and water flower beds, trees, shrubs and landscaped areas and apply mulch to flower beds, small trees and shrubs; mow and edge grass areas around the airport grounds.
Maintain equipment and vehicles ensuring fluid levels are full, greasing parts and sharpening/replacing pruner or mower blades.
Remove ice and snow from airport roads and airfield.
Perform related work as required.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:
At least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
Possess a valid Ohio driver's license, in good standing. Commercial Driver's License, (Class B) preferred
Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) pesticides spraying license preferred
Two years of experience in gardening and landscaping preferred
Able to operate mowers, tiller, edger, and snow equipment
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor seasonal temperatures and stand for extended time period
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour plus shift differential
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse different types of worksites and bend, climb, stretch, and reach
Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push/pull 50-pound loads at a time
Must be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to concrete, dirt, fumes, and loud noise levels
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs
Must be able to work long hours and Saturdays when needed
Must be able to work at various heights and weather conditions
