With step progression, learn to make adjustments to keep roll weights within specification. Weigh more frequently during/after changes in operating conditions. · Core tag and properly package/palletize all production for traceability and product safety. · Assist Operator in separating the sheet, clearing wrap-ups, pulling and cleaning dies, screws, elbows, and other tasks as required. · Responsible for overall safety of his/her work area and to assist others to work safely. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and expert knowledge of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will also mentor and train junior plumbers, ensuring quality workmanship and exceptional service standards. All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Trains staff as necessary. Assists with day to day operations. Supervise and lead plumbing projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, codes, and specifications. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, waste systems, piping, and fixtures. Diagnose plumbing problems and offer expert solutions. Inspect plumbing systems and equipment for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership and training to junior plumbers and apprentices, offering guidance on techniques and safety procedures. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes to determine appropriate installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material usage, time logs, and job site reports. Coordinate with contractors, property owners, and other professionals to ensure project timelines and specifications are met. Respond to emergency plumbing calls and troubleshoot urgent plumbing issues. Manage plumbing maintenance schedules and ensure ongoing preventative maintenance for clients. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or its equivalency preferred. Previous experience in facilities, preferably in the casino industry. Must have experience using purchasing software and Microsoft Word and Excel. Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Valid Master Plumber License and extensive experience (minimum of 5-7 years) in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing. In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices. Proven ability to lead and manage a team of plumbers, including delegating tasks and ensuring high standards of work. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on complex plumbing systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and non-technical staff. Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment, including diagnostic tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening. Maintain physical stamina and a proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
